This forum is dedicated to helping people with questions about installing radio equipment in vehicles. This can include antenna installs, electrical wiring questions/problems, and mounting systems. Pictures of installs are welcome.
Note: Discussions regarding lighting, sirens, and other equipment now has its own forum in the 'off-topic' section below.
Hey guys. Looking for find out if anyone has done an install on one of these, or if anyone knows of a console that is made for it. The 2006 Hybrid Differs from the older models in that this one has a floor shifter. I attached pics since I know we all like them. Worst case scenario, I mount something on the side of the hump, or remote the control head and place it under the radio.
I also wanted to know if a conventional headlight flasher will work on this vehicle. I know NMfire10 will probably pipe in here about our testing of it. The vehicle uses a diagnostic system to determine if the headlights are out, and I am wondering if the flasher would make this system trip out.

Thanks again guys!
That god damn thing is possessed. Do you remember if the high beams needed to be turned on for the 'check right highbeam' indicator to come on?

If I ran a system check through the "avionics cluster" it would come up, however if I was not using the highbeam, it would not illuminate....however we never left it on for an extended period of time. Would the flasher make the high beam indicator lamp come on? That may freak out the system.
Nope. I say this week we do more clinical trials with it. We'll leave the bulb disconnected for an extended period of time with the lights on and off and see what it does. It won't see any power from the flasher when it is flashing.
If it makes you feel any better, Shaun's new Sport Track remote starts itself when you connect the battery. Almost took my arm off while I was putting the wig-wags in that last week! At least yours just makes noises and sounds like it's about to launch a missle.
