Hello everyone,
Would like to know if the 16ch MT1000 w/DTMF can be down graded to remove the DTMF and install the guts into a non DTMF case.
TIA,
Andrew

What radios do you own?: XTS3000/astro spectra/

all you need to do is unplug the DTMF front from the logic board and plug in a regular mt1000 front, no other modifications are needed, you dont even need to remove the radio from the housing. BTW they made a MDC 1200 front for that radio, it had a yellow emergency button on it.

the front covers ( with the Flex and Speaker)

They are different. If you would like to makre a EXCHANGE, please contact me.
