What does the green dot on antennas mean?

Just saw this http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dl ... URL=0&rd=1, and was curious as to if the green dot signifies a freq range.

The green dot signifies the UHF range, depending on the radio, it usually covers 435-520 MHz, sometimes 403.

Looked at the ad- a green dot on a Jedi antenna signifies UHF low split I believe
403-470, to differentiate it from a high split 450-520 Jedi antenna (black dot).
I believe the guy advertising doesn't know what he's selling- photo does not appear to be a Jedi antenna at all- looks like a GP300 UHF antenna which will not work with a Jedi radio.
