hi... i'm kind of new here..
need help in LTR system please..
i found out that the LTR system at my place have this weird sound like a honking sound..
this honking sound sometimes comes and sometimes don't...
sometime i notice that when i PTT when the honking sound occur..
the honking sound seem to dissapear but after the PTT it still there (seem like a ghost in the LTR)
some one please give some suggestion on what to do...

- What radios do you own?: AM/FM
Are you hearing this honking locally, or are other people hearing this after your transmission? Is this PTT coming from a console, or a portable / mobile? Are you running analog LTR or Passport? Are your repeaters all properly tuned? Is this repeatable by other people, or just the radio you are using?

ok.. from what i know...
the honking sound can be heard by other people too..
the PTT is from the protable..
the LTR is analog...
yes..the repeater is properly tuned..
and the repeater is repeatable by other people...
guys if i say the honking sound come from the repeater itself....
do you guys think this might happen...?
another thing.. the LTR system is UHF and the honking sound happen in wide band..
