2003 Ford Explorer - Console.. among other things...

Post by KuhnElectronics »

I did a search for some pics and models of different consoles and mounting options for the Explorer. My friend just bought a 2003 and needs a kenwood vhf, motorola sm50 uhf, uniden scanner, and a unitrol siren/light switches...

Does anyone have a clue what kind of console to use or prices..

anyone have one for sale..??

thanks,
nick

I'd look at the Havis and JottoDesk drop-in consoles. I believe you can get ~12" of radio room, and maintain the factory look.

Take a look at the Jotto Desk console. If you think it will suit your needs, let me know. I have one that I took out of an '03 Exploder. It fit great and was easy to install, but I ended up getting rid of the car. I'll sell the console and some face plates for less than new price. You can email me at k4rxr at rlburns.net.
