With such a cryptic message, are you referring to trunked radio only, or in general?

If trunked, then several models will do this, but not PP(PrivacyPlus).
Smartnet/Smartzone radios should do dynamic regrouping, but I am certain all type II and IIi will do this as well.

From your post, this is all I could come up with..

'Normal' VHF/UHF radios do not perform dynamic regrouping, that is a trunking feature only.

LTR does not use this feature either as its controller logic is completely different in operation.

I am not well versed on the major truning systems as the only trunking systems I am familiar with is the LTR format.

But I hope what I have provided will answer your questions on this subject.

Motorola Type I has Dynamic Reprogramming Group. It is an enable/disable option in programming. Usually used to stun a lost or stolen radio.

I'm sorry....I was talking about MDC function of Motorola radios. What is a Motorola Type I ?Which radios do we have in that group?....(HT1250, HT1550.....?)
