I am trying to make a 1ch minitor III into a 2 ch. I know this issue has been extensively visited here but all of the threads I have seen do not address my particular problem. The problem I have is when I load the codeplug into hex workshop the value at 2CCh is a 0 instead of a 2. This pager has ABCD selector switch and Vib option, is this model capable of being converted? if so do I need to change a diffrent offset than what is listed in the instructions on the site?
Model # A03YMS7238AC
Any help here is appreciated
Thanks

If you have the windows based PPS instead of the DOS Software, try reading this thread clearly: http://batboard.batlabs.com/viewtopic.php?t=45816
It's much simpler than hex editing the file, and works flawlessly.

You can do it with the DOS based software.
1.) Find a pager in the same split and freq range as yours in two channel format. Also make sure if yours is a SV then you get a SV one also.
2.) Next read the two channel pager, and change the freqs and tones you need.
3.) Then get your one channel into programming mode.
4.) Start to program the two channel again. You will see the software read the pager before it programs. There will then be a pause between reading and programming like maybe a second maybe.
5.) During this delay swap the one channel with the two channel into the pager programer.
6.) The software will then program the one channel with the two channel settings.
7.) Exit the program and then read your old one channel and now it should show up as a two channel from now on.
WARNING!!! - This will ned up copying over the serial numbers also so do not do this to dept pagers or radio equipment that is not yours. This is being done on your own free will and any possible damage to the equipment is your own fault.
I however have done this two numerious M3's I have and it always works. BUT YOU MUST FIND THE SAME SPLIT PAGER. Different freq split or band will turn your one channel into a door stop/wheel chuck.
