Minitor 1 with PermaCode filters

Post by n9jig »

I have never seen one of these before, but I have come across a couple Minitor 1's with 3 PermaCode tone filters instead of VibraSponders.

I presume these work on an AB, BC and/or Long C tonesets, but does anyone know for sure? Does anyone know the various jumper settings to arrange the tone formats for PermaCode Minitor 1's?

TIA!

You have a NLN-4627 series "three tone" decoder board. IIRC it could be configured for a common "A" tone or a common "B" tone.

I have the service manual in front of me, but I think to get the jumper configurations I'll have to dig out the theory of operation manual.

E-mail me direct, and I'll see what I can do.
