HT1250 MDC

Hello, I am not very savy on MDC functions on the HT1250 so i am going to ask!! If you want to recieve someone MDC ID do you have to have that group programmed on that channel or is there a Recieve all function that will show them without having that group programmed??

If you wanna receive some ID on your chennal you don't need to clone that ID to your radio....It will receive any IDs with correct settings of the chennal...

HT1250's will decode any MDC ID they can pick out of the air. They will also, if that ID has an alias in your MDC call list, display said alias. I'm not sure if MDC needs to be enabled on that channel in order for it to decode the ID - I don't think it does but I could be wrong.

Just remember, if in fear, if in doubt... experiment! :)

Just make sure that you have RECIEVE SIGNALLING on for that channel.
