spotlight for 2001 Chevy Tahoe

Post by rdkl »

Does anyone have a suggestion for a spotlight on a 2001 Chevy Tahoe? We are looking at the Nightprobe and GoLight options, but they seem to be rather large. Ideally we would like to put something on the roof.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Unless you want to drill a hole in the roof and drop a Unity through it, those are probably your best two options.

It most unfortunately has a sunroof. So I wouldnt be able to drill any holes in the roof towards the front.

I would look at the Federal Signal Visibeam...it is a nice compact package that puts a lot of light where you need it.

The visibeam is a nice light for its intended market, utility vehicles and such.

I think they suck for law enforcement, too much fiddling with the controller to get it where you want the light to be.

Door or Pillar post light would be my choice.

There are always the 1m/2m cp handheld ones that plug in to the cigarette lighters...

Handhelds aren't much good either.

What's the point if you can't keep the light on something except by holding it?

I agree, but had to throw it out there.
