Minitor III Band Question

Post by nyscan00 »

I have a Min III UHF pager in the 464mhz band. Question is if this pager can be programmed to a 462.xx frequency or is it out of band?
Thanks!

The band split starts at 464.0000 for a pager operating in the 464.xxx split. The Windows RSS will program it 700 kHz lower with a warning that it will not meet the specs. There are ways to get it to go down to the 462 frequency, but it will likely require tuning and still may no meet the full spec. Both the front end and VCO may need to be adjusted for a 2 meg out of band frequency.
