Minitor 5 battery problems

Post by Tron »

Has anyone had problems with the battery staying latched on the pager? I have some in service that need to keep it taped so it doesn't unlatch and drop off.

Or is the "solution" to this problem to keep it in a carry case, like the 3s & 4s?

FWIW, I'm using a Sun Telecom Flex display pager with a battery door on the back and it never comes off..and I don't use a case! Damn japs strike again. :-)

The lock tab on mine is almost immovable. You should need to push like hell on it to get the door to unlock.

eBay at it's finest:

Them: "A very nice CB at 900Mhz speed!"

Have seen both problems

Have about 600 MinV in service and have seen both problems - I would say at least 10 - 12 pagers with one problem or the other.
