we've had the same problem with a few pagers out of a lot that we recently took posession of.
We asked for an immediate replacement overnight shipping, motorola giveth, and we have a new one, no more problems. I would suggest that you send the entire setup back, charger, battery & all, let them swap it ALL out so as to ensure you're got a new clean setup... Never sure 100% where the prblems are/were.
