M3 not always RX'ing pages

Post by n9upc »

Just recently we had to change paging freqs from 154.XXXX to 152.XXXX We preformed this change on M2's, M3's, and M4's.

Now all the M2's and m4's work great but a fair amount of the M3's (NOT ALL) are getting the pages sometimes and not.

The people who are having troubles all live within the village where the transmitter is and had no problems before.

I thought about bandsplit issues but some of the pagers were purchased back in the day new with the others so they are all the same bandsplit. Yet some work and do not????

The next step is to test them with the good ole' service monitor on the bench and then check the decoding IC.

Any other ideals as to what to look for???
