Maxtrac Signalling

Post by firefighter2000 »

Do all models of maxtrac do the signalling? If not, how can I tell if mine does it? We want to set ours up to do so as a backup if possible.
Thanks

I hate to ask the question, but if you expect to get an answer, you might want to elabrate on what you mean.

Just what are you calling SIGNALLING?

Are you looking for MDC, 2 tone sequenctial, QC2, DTMF, PL, DPL, or what?

Jim

If it has the 16 pin logic board, it will (or can be made to).
If it has the 5 pin board with the extra chips (under and next to the eprom) it will also.

Ooops

My apologies. Thats what I meant, as in transmitting I believe two tone sequential. We're looking to try & set up a backup way to page our department. We were without dispatch for almost two days a while back because NEW dispatch consoles were installed & central dispatch. Our department was one of the ones affected in the county. We'd just like a backup. Thanks for the help.
