What Power Supply?

Post by bcooper »

What size power supply is needed to power this to flash? Is it a standard 12V DC tip-positive supply?

The two that I have were supplied with the UPI....they're 10.5VDC at 6.5W. I checked them on an electronic load, and they do indeed deliver 10.5VDC at 620 ma. I expect that anything rated close to 10-11VDC@600 ma. would work fine as long as it has a filter capacitor hung across the rectifier output(these do, but don't know the value as it's inside the wallwart case).
