Ok, two questions both relating to the Astro Spectras

First: Is it possible to use a W7 Astro Spectra (VHF) and use the keypad to control a siren with that head much like you can use the keypad on a W9 radio, or will it NEED an external DEK?

What is involved in converting the nice MCS2K potato mic to use with a Spectra?
