What is a Mototorla MTX 8000 worth $$

I was just wondering what a Motorola MTX 8000 800MHZ B7 Model # HO1UCH6DB7AN has a new Motorola battery,new charger,new stubby antenna,new belt clip,new audio adapter and dust cover,i would say the radio is a 9 out of 10,very clean.
Just wanted to know what kind of price to expect for it on ebay .

I just sold mine in basically the same condition for $247.50 on Ebay.

I'd be wary of buying any 800 MHz stuff now that rebanding is going to be taking place soon. Depends on the system of course, but just throwing that out there.

wow, 250 for a radio that will soon be pretty much useless on the new rebanded systems aint bad at all. It should make a nice conventional radio.
I would say it's parts may be worth more than the whole in the near future (front cover with display board, rear chassis, battery, RF board, antenna).

the only radios that will have any value are flashport upgradeable radios (MTS2000 with 512K controllers, XTS, etc) after rebanding. There is a list of radios that will be reflashable on Moto's rebanding website. The old legacy radios (STX, MTX8000, Maxtrac, GTX, etc) will all make nice paperweights.

I was shocked too. If you look at the auction, the guy kept bidding. I thought he was going to stiff me for the money, but he paid.

Heck, I think I was only asking for $150.00 for it and got no takers, so I put it on Ebay with a starting bid of $9.99 with no reserve. I'm happy and now the only 800 radio I have is an MTX-LS.

I tried selling a HT750 - 4 ch for $150, and the highest offer I got was $100. So it went to eBay with $9.99 to start - no reserve. It sold for $167.00.

Sold a NIB 15" LCD monitor for $162.50, and started the auction at $9.99. An identical monitor from a different guy, with a "buy it now" for $150 did NOT sell. I have a few 17" LCD NIB, and they are fetching a decent price so far (4 days to go)

I think the key to eBay is posting your item with No Reserve and a low starting price. This gets people interested, and sometimes gets into a bidding frensy.
