Saber Vehicle Adaptor Wiring.

Post by AEC »

Here's one way to wire the Saber vehicle adaptor, using a computer's power plug.

1. B+ main power

2. Ign. Sense

3. Dash lights (dimmer control)...I think, I didn't bother to wire this.

4. Gnd.

Rear view, left to right orientation, looking at the plug as it is plugged into the unit.

1. 2. 3. 4.

SHOULD BE:
4. 3. 2. 1.
[ O O O O ]

I decided to post this so others can have the info readily vailable as well.

This is the REGULAR Saber adaptor and NOT the Astro version.

ADDENDUM: This power connector is upside down, the orientation is REVERSE of the design shown, the angled portion of the plug is facing the board(my bad).

Sorry for the confusion, I was up too late when doing this!

Enterprize.....One to beam up!

And Thanks AEC for the quick response! This info should be on the batlabs Saber page, on there it's just the color of wire followed by the connection needed, it doesn't show the pin numbers so a power cord can be made from scratch.
