i have a vhf and uhf spectra that does mdc encode but is there anything in the rss that needs to be enabled to get the radio to do decode i know the old syntor x9000 would decode mdc so i assume the spectra will right

- What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's
spectra's can't decode mdc, neither can the x9000. the astro spectra might be able to. you need an mcs2000 or mcs1250/1550 to decode mdc.
