Problem with stored voice

Post by Jay G. »

Ok heres the situation:
When dispatch sets our tones off, there is a 2 or 3 second delay from the end of the tones till the dispatcher starts talking. During that time, the M5 thinks that the message is done and stops recording the voice. I get a great recording of the tones, but no message......HELP!
Pager is set for 15 seconds record, and REVERT for the reset mode.

thanks!

I believe it's Revert N that you need... set N for about 6 seconds. That'll keep the pager "open" after tone tone for 6 seconds after the carrier drops, then it'll revert. 15 second record may not be long enough... try 30 or dynamic.
