DUAL CONTORL HEAD HIGH POWER SPECTRA

I WANT TO RUN TWO CONTROL HEADS ON MY VHF SPECTRA. QUESTION IS CAN I RUN A A-7 AND AN A-9 HEAD OR DO THE HEADS HAVE TO BE THE SAME. I NEED THE SMALL HEAD UP FRONT AND THE OTHER IN THE REAR. AND CAN A REGULAR CONTROL CABLE BE USED IN THE ASSY PORT?

The only dual head setup it two A9 heads.
