MSF5000 CLB Analog programming. How to?

Post by kb0nly »

Does anyone know how to program one of these? I have been digging through any info available on the subject online to help a local ham out that recently acquired one of these and is hoping to get it on the air.

The only thing mentioned about it on batlabs is using the old suitcase programmer. So this tells me i need to be able to generate the codeplug info to write to the Prom or Eprom.

I have programmed Syntor X radios by generating a bin file using one of the freely available programs out there, and then burning that image to the EEprom in the memory module. Has anyone written a similar program for generating the image files for the MSF?

Any info you can provide on programming this unit would be helpful!

What radios do you own?: X9000, HT1550XLS, MTS2000, etc

I can blow a prom for you. What do you want on it?
