Help with Spectra Model Number

Help with Spectra Model Number

Hi
I have been have trouble trying to find out what band this Spectra is,i have looked on Batlabs and can't figure out if this is a 800Mhz or 900 Mhz.
Any help would be much appreciated
They are Spectra radios's,
the model numbers are TC9ZX+070W and TC9KG+070W

I think you'll have more luck if you can get the model ID number which is probably below the number you showed above. It would likely be 12 characters long; you'll find that style number describes the type of mount, power level, band, control head, etc.

This shows its a 800Mhz,its just i have never seen a model number like that .

Yup, that's an 800mhz Smartzone s9000e unit. The other # is a newer model# that /\/\ started using on the spectras that only give very basic info on the unit and it's abilities.

Can i change the unit to use a A7 head ? Bit Bang ?

If you have a S9000 head and can power up the radio, you can read it and change the control head type under F2 - Radio-wide Options. If you don't have a S9000 head, you'll need to get one before you'll be able to read the radio.
