Your personal setup recommendations for a HT1250

Post by Jammer »

Now that I all freqs are in and working, it's time to set up this 1250 with the best possible Rx & Tx settings.

Can you guys list your recommended settings for as much as possible on this radio?

Looking for optimal tx & rx settings mostly but all other setup preferences would be appreciated. Expansion, Gains, Etc.

Thanx

What radios do you own?: AM/FM

turn off expansion (we have all our radios with it set off, and it prevents that super bass-y RX on non moto radios)

turn off companding (unless ALL the radios have it on)

gains are personal preference, so is MDC, Pre time and the like....

your best bet is to trial and error your radios to YOUR systems, the settings and the gains on my radios will not work on yours as well as they do for me.
