I'm working the set-up of my UHF VRS, and when I hooked it up after programming I noticed that it doesn't stop TX'ing every xxx milliseconds to hear the portable, like the older PAC*RT's and GE extenders do.
Did I miss a menu option in the Spectra RSS somewhere?

Do not make Sig angry...he'll just keep ringing the bell.
I had an SP02 version as well once on my X9000, the priority checking is so fast that when the VRS is transmitting and your listening on the HT you really have to be paying attention to hear it.
If you want to check for sure that is indeed switching transmit a constant tone, you could have someone transmit on the mobile frequency it is repeating while also transmitting a constant tone using DTMF and then listening on the output of the VRS you should be able to hear it. With normal voice it just kinda blends in and isn't that noticeable. With a constant higher pitched tone you will hear clicks that are the VRS switching back and forth from transmit to receive.

Duct tape is like the force, it has a dark side and a light side and it holds the universe together.

I fired it up, and turned off all other noise makers around me.....you two are right about it being quick. I totally missed it when I had other things like the CD player on while programming/bench testing.
I'm used to the Pyramid SVR's at work that have a very annoying PI cycle.
