"mode error" On spectra

Post by kt2728 »

I bought a used spectra A9 and it was working properly it been programmed with rx olny channels. I read the radio and enabled tx on some channels to test the transmitter. :) everything ok, i then went to programming the radio the way I was planning on using it, downloaded the info to the radio and now all i get is "mode error" on the display. Have i made myself a paperweight or can this be fixed? thanks. kt

What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

if you have a saved codeplug for it write that back to it and see if it fixes it. or see if it will let you read it now even with the error message and delete all the chanels downt to one and start over again.
