Since I am unable to locate an 800Mhz RF board for an Astro spectra, if I were to put an analog Spectra RF board in there, would the radio still work?
I know digital wouldn't work, and that's not what I'm looking to have happen. For analog purposes, would an 800Mhz analog RF board serve as a temporary fix for analog receive when the rest is Astro...
So I guess what I'm asking is if the pinouts are the same between the command and RF boards...

Well, the radio I have now is 403-437. I need an 800Mhz RF board, which is apparently very hard to come-by, granted I'm sure somoene out there is lookin' to change their 800Mhz Spectra to at least UHF 438-482- which this RF board can accomodate- actually all bands.
I want to mix parts with my analog specta and make an 800Mhz radio, I was just going to convert the RF board as someone here on the batboard had done but that required some 30+ solder jobs, about half being jumpers, so that wasn't going to work.
I guess at this point I'm going to build it into a 438-482 Astro Spectra with the correct 'upgrading' and have it go from there... but 800Mhz is what I could actually use. UHF even in 438-480 with digital is just as useful as 403-437! --- not at all. Heck even VHF would be fine.
