What radios do you own?: APX

Hello, Just wondering if you could confirm that flashcode again. The only thing I have seen cause a problem like your having with that radio is QCII. But from the looks of your flashcode, you dont have it in that MTS. With QCII on an "MTS2000", If you have a channel assigned to QCII, and the recieve is set to "AND" muting, it will not recieve anything until it decodes the proper tones, or you give the PTT a press. The radio will then be un-muted from QCII after the PTT is pressed. But, like I said before from the looks of what I think that flashcode is with the spaces in the correct places, the radio does not have QCII. Hope this helps some.

Hi

The flashcode are 000008-100000-0
System package H38

I just try to change the receive settings from AND to OR,
and now it receives just perfect when i power the radip up.
I just don´t understand why , all my other radios are set to "AND" ,
well the most importent thing are that it works now,
thanks a lot for the help.

"and" and "or" are logic statements from high school math... with the "and" condition, both the proper PL/DPL and Signaling (QCII) need to be received to unmute audio.. with the "OR" condition, either one of the two will unmute the audio...

HI libuff

Sure but the funny parts is ,
that i don´t have QC11 on the radio,
i only use mdc1200 and the mode are conv.
I´ve 3 others mts2000 and they are set to "AND" ,
but they open just perfect without pushing ptt ?
But it´s working now , so i´m happy :-)

What RSS did you use? Have had a similar problem before, Wookie DPS(beta/labsoftware) was the problem.

Alan,

I certainly would try a more actual version of RSS, R06.00.00 or higher.
Maybe this will solve your problem(s).

What radios do you own?: XTS2500, XTS5000, and MTS2000

CPS anything is a much higher version than any DOS RSS is, and 1.10 while not being the most current version of MTS2000 CPS (which is 1.13) should be just fine.
