CP200 out of band

Post by John »

Does anyone know how to program a CP200 out of band? I have a 146-174 MHz model and I need to add some 143MHz channels. I assume there is somewhere in the CPS that checks for valid frequency range but I don't know where this is stored.

I know the professional trunking series (MTX8250) CPS can be modified to do out of band but it doesn't look like the CP200 has the same format for the band limits. Any ideas?

What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

the frequency range is set in the firmware in the newer radios, it's not set by the software so you can't hack the limits anymore.
