Astro CPS Version 5.0

Post by Do-Anything »

Hi, I see the latest version as:
RVN4182R
R05.00.00ASTRO SABER/XTS3000

Is it worth upgrading from 4.01.04?

I wonder too.

We should have the update under our software section, but I still see 4.01.04. I wish I could at least read the literature. I guess they'll update our page soon.

Has anyone else been notified of a new cps for the astro series (spectra/saber/xts3000) coming out. Even though the post eludes to 5.0 coming out I have not seen it on MOL yet.

I see it in MOL, just not on my updates screen.

No update in our CPS section either...also no update in the 'Service News' section where I'd normally see the announcement. I do have the latest Commerical Series 5.04 update in both spots though...

I just checked today. No 5.00.00 upgrade for me either.

I'll be ordering some stuff from them in the next couple of weeks, so I s'pose it's worth a phone call.

Im wondering if this is their answer to rebanding.

Also I wonder if they are going to release new firmware for the 3Ks anytime soon, i dont expect an astro saber to really survive rebanding, but a 3K would be nice!
