I want to eliminate the low battery beep, but keep the keypad beep - anyone have a schematic or know what I need to bridge to bypass the low battery signal?
Thanks!

GP68...
According to the service manual, the only thing you can do with the
alert tone is to have it on or off, and the book says that this operation
affects ALL tones on the radio. It would seem that this on/off control
is in the firmware rather than board components.
Not an easy unit to set up, program, change, etc. under ANY
circumstances, which I why I used to have two of them but don't
any more.
