Systems Saber Cloning Wierd Problem - Alternating Channels?

Post by seleong »

Systems Saber Gurus - HELP!

I've been cloning a few VHF Systems Saber 3's, and all was well - until I finished one that said it cloned OK, but only displayed a pair of alternating channels in the alpha display when I flip through the channels. When I try, radio tries to change Zones, but with various results. I had cloned 5 Zones of 16 channels, and this was the wierd result. Tried more clone attempts, but same result. Tried to re-program the radio, same result. Now a "MSG 1" is displayed on the display. Is there a way to blank out all channels and start over? What happened???

Thanks for any suggestions!

Systems Saber Problem

Found the problem:

One frequency in the clone list was out of band for the radio. Displayed list alternated between acceptable and non-acceptable frequency.

Doh!
