HT 600 question regarding serial numbers

Hi i have some HT 600's and i need to get my programmed so i can use UHF CB frequencies.

my model number saids this
H34SVU7160CN
and my serial number is
649ARW2509

what kind of radio is this- :;)))
my tech tells me it works 400-440mhz range.

how do i tell what kind of radio it is.
please help me out

Hello. The model # doesn't indicate the bandsplit, but it says UHF low power, 6 freq. Hope this helps. 73'S GARY N4KVE

If you remove the front cover, you should see a module down near the bottom with the frequency range printed on it.

Probably not if the radio is a low split uhf. If it is a 450-470(aprox)
then yes you can probably put your "cb" frequencies in it.
Hope folks read where you are and realize that your cb band is
uhf before they say it cant be done. Phrawg
