R100 repeater...tricks to reprogramming???

Hello, I have a r100 repeater that needs to be reprogrammed from 457.450 to 456.825.....
If I recall....the last time anyone here tried to reprogram an r100...it crashed and we never did resolve that issue

Question #1....are there special instructions ?

Question #2....is there a way to resurect the one we crashed?

Yes, and yes.

Most important is using a SLOOOOW computer, the software was written for an ond 286. 386 20 mHz is the fastest you could use.

Also, the RSS only runs in PURE DOS 6.2x, absoulty NO windows anywhere.

Thank you for that answer....I can probably dig out an old DOS 286...(from a museum!)...other than that ....I'll just go ahead and program it like any 'normal' MOTO product.
