Spectra programing problem

Hi i can't always program my spectra's i get a protcal erro? what is this and i dont always get that thanks

The RSS for Spectra's runs under and was written in DOS only, no Windows or DOS box. Try booting you computer with a DOS 6.xx disk so windows doe not even get going.

That's what i was wondering, perhaps its a problem with the com port?

An old slow computer running only dos 6.22. Otherwise something else might be capturing the com port.

Other than that i don't know what else it would be. I have only had that happen here when i had a bad connection, etc.

Well thanks guys some times i restart or let it set a while it works great so ill keep on trying but i got it to work for now thanks
