SVA power question

There are four wires to the power lead: red, yellow, green, black


a betting man would bet red is to the battery and black is ground...what the ^%* are the other 2 for? ignition? accessories?

or am i waaayy off?

Not sure what 2 is, I don't think it has any real use, correct me if i'm wrong....

i think 2 goes to the vehicles lights so the display will backlight, but i could be wrong...

Number 2 is the backlight dimmer, if connected to the headlight circuit in the vehicle it will dim the backlighting when you turn on your headlights at night.
