r-2400 service monitor question

Post by willbartlett »

So I'm looking at a 2400 for a friend, I believe it was purchased from fleabay. I need to know if there are any "option" cards in the batch of card slots in the center of the unit. this one seems to be "missing" the red card. The functions do not appear to be listed anywhere near the slots, unlile my beloved HP monitor.

Any basic info on the card functions would be appreciated.

Many thanks, Will

What radios do you own?: What's a radio?

The R2400 is a basic service monitor with a spectrum analyzer. A "two-way signalling option" card would make it a R2410. The option card would give you decode capabilities for pl/dpl, dtmf encode and decode. If the card isn't there, it's definately a R2400.
