What radios do you own?: Motorola FR50!

Decoding Multiple QCII Tones

Post by NSPD »

I searched the forum but I wasn't able to find an answer for this.

I have a couple radios (MT2000 and Systems Saber III) that I'd like to program on a UHF simulcast of our low band fire dept system. We use 2-Tone for paging out stations, and i'd like for my radio to Alert to my station's tones as well as the tones for our 4 bordering stations since we run mutual aid with them so much.

In MTSX RSS I only seem to be able to have one set of tones, but I know on Minitor pagers you can have up to 5 sets of tones. Is this possible with the MT2000 or Systems Saber?

Pagers make great pagers. Radios make great radios. Not all radios make great pagers. Most aren't designed to be a pager. What you see is what you get. The CDM I know can do A-B / A-C or A-B Long B or C and that is the most extensive I have seen so far.

eBay at it's finest:
Me: "What exactly is a 900Mhz UHF CB?"
Them: "A very nice CB at 900Mhz speed!"
