Hi Sergio, I always like to hear about the export radios. What kind of mod did you have to do to the rib and what are you trying to make the radio do??

Only if you are planning to flash your GM1200 into an MC2000. If 10 channels are enough for you, you can use the GM1200 as is, without the need of reflashing. If memory serves me, the programming cable is similar to the standard cable, except one small switch which connects two pins to bring the radio into bootstrap mode for flashing.

Hi, thanks Keygun. So 10 channel is not enough, i want to flash to MC2000
I think to flash the radio,as you wrote, is need a rib with the switches.
But in scheme i see the flashing voltage (13V) in pin 10-14 of DB25 in RIB.
What pin of GM1200 (service plug, mic plug i think is not valid to flash),
receive 13V (Flashing voltage)?
Thank all.

You can find the flash cable on Andreas' website: http://www.fortunecity.de/lindenpark/me ... edimob.gif

You're right, for flashing the GM1200, you can't use the mic plug; you have to use the service plug.
Here is a small description of the Pins of the service plug (no guarantee it is correct!):
-4: GND
-5: BUSY*
-6: BUS+
-9: Connected to Pin 10
-10: Connected to Pin 9
-14: SWB+
-18: BUS-
-19: I don't know exactly what this Pin is; however, it is connected to a modified circuit of the UniRIB
-20: Same as above
-21: Same as above

Pin 4 and Pin 14 are connected with a 2,2k resistor.

I'm not familiar with the GM1200 software, but in the MCS2000 software you can change the value of the "TT" (time-out timer) from 15 seconds to 465 seconds, in 15 second increments, or choose "infinite" to turn it off. From the main menu press F4-->F3-->F2-->F9 to find the TT table.

You cannot fash your radios, because your radios have the limited dsplay.
If you want to flash the radios, you have to change the controlhead.
The limited controlhead is not supported in the 2100 series.
