Quantar - Firmware Upgrade????

Post by RADIO43 »

Group,

We purchased 6 Quantar repeaters back in 2001. I have 2 questions - 1. is there any firmware upgrades for the quantars or 2. has there been any firmware upgrades for the quantars. If so what were some of the bugs that were worked out.
We have been noticing some reduced performance with digital in our system the last year or so and have been trying to narrow it down. Also we have had a few portables come back from "Moto" that are fixed to spec and have had some problems with digital audio.
Thanks in advance....................

Ok theres been lots of updates since then
RSS is now versiobn 13.0
my current firmare for
intelli repaters is SCM IR_020_122_524
WL_020_12_008
Boot_020_10_022
EXC_20_09_017

Same for our older SZ txers.

There has been at least two releases since then.
Unless you have problems no need to do it, however it can be usefull to upgrade to the latest code plug version, simply by using RSS

I believe the current RSS version (at least the one available for download on MOL) is 14.00.04.
