Simple cross-patch for two XTS2500's???

Post by Danno1598 »

I am looking for a company (or someone willing to build) a simple, small, cost-effective (OK, I know I'm pushing it), crosspatch module to allow two 800Mhz Digital APCO25 Motorola XTS2500's together to allow crosspatching between talkgroups.
The ultimate system would be either built into a cable or very small and portable - Maybe battery powered???

ACU-T from Raytheon, not cheap, but works great.

Actually for what they do, the ACU-Ts are pretty reasonable...

Regardless, due to battery life and heat issues, I wouldn't want to be trying to connect two portables together for crossbanding. A real interface unit and a couple of Astro mobiles would be a much better choice.
