Hi:

Without getting into the Spacifics:

The major differencies between the two
are Features and channel capicity.

MT2000's up to 160, MTS2000's up to 255/256 Channels
and similar modes of opration.

MTS 2000's have 16 Mode / mulit-Zone operation ect

All based on the HT1000/MT2000/MTS2000 Radio group

Monty,

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the core difference between the MT2000 and MTS2000 was that the MT is CONVENTIONAL OPERATION ONLY whereas the MTS was dual mode (trunked/conventional) capable?

[bYes, that is also part
of the features....Lots
of feature differneces
between the 2 groups
of radios, and it depends
On Freq range too !

If we knew the Model Number or Firm
Ware Ver, the group could better respond

We have MTS2000s, MT2000s, and HT1000s at work, and that's my understanding - but, if that's incorrect, I'm curious to know about it.

As far as I know, that's correct. MT2000 series is conventional only.
