PROGRAMMING HELP TK 790/890

HI I JUST UPGRADED FROM A 730/830 TO A 790/890. I HAVE THE SOFTWARE HOWEVER I CANT GET INTO PROGRAM MODE AND CANT FIGURE OUT IF I NEED A PROGRAMMING CABLE THE 730 MIC FIT CABLE OBVIOUSLY DOESNT WORK. SO HOW DO I PROGRAM THIS RADIO I FOUND THE PIN CONNECTOR ON THE BACK OF BOTH OF THE RADIO ITSELF TRIED THAT NOTHING. OBVIOUSLY IM NOT FAMILIAR WITH IT PLEASE HELP THANKXXXX !!!!!

There is no programming mode on the 90 series. Just plug it in and do it. It will know and do everything on it's own.

to program the tk-690 -790-890 you will need a cable. it is kpg-43. will plug in front,where the mic goes. and you are off and running. that's all you need to do.
