Ht750 Power issues

Post by D Brown »

Can anyone help on finding power amps for ht750's. The factory says you have to buy the whole board????? Another thing. I have about 6 ht750's that will not turn on. Not fuse or anything normal. I believe the same thing is wrong with all of them b\c of the data I get from the testpoints. Any suggestions on the problem with them.

I have had several Ht-750 radios lately that would not turn on. If I pushed on the on/off pot towards the back of the radio, they would come on. I suspect a bad batch of pots. Sent to Motorola for wrranty repair. Came back fine.

Not enough info here to be of any real help.

UHF or VHF?
Vintage of radios?
What kind of data are you getting from the test points?
Do you have a service manual?
