System Saber Scanning

Post by telstar4 »

Hey guys ...I have a UHF system saber (con 7). When I go to Chan 1 AUTOSCAN is displayed. The regular scn is on the display also. I want to be able to mode scan. I do not want autoscan Where in the RSS would be able to correct this?

Thanks

The only way to change your configuration, is to look under F6, Conventional data, then F8 for conventional personalities.

Listed in the PER CHANNEL screens, is the 'SCAN TYPE' which can be set to: USER INITIATED/AUTOSCAN/DISABLED.

This is configured on a per-channel basis.

That's all there is to do, unless you do keypad button config, or side button actuation of the scan feature, then you can't have it activated via the keypad.

Hope this helps....

Thanks... it was set to autoscan. Don't know what I was thinking. Thats what I get for programming a code plug at 2:45 in the morning.

I see another lost radio soul does work by igniting the late night petroleum*snicker*

Sorry, I couldn't help swiping a line from Lt Cdr Data.

I doubt there's one person on this forum that hasn't done the same thing you've done...

Glad you got the problem worked out though!
