HT-1000 scan problem

Has anyone had an HT-1000 rx out of scan, but as soon as you put it in scan it stops rx'ing? If you have a signal on the selected chan, and push the mon button just momentarily it will start rx'ing and will work unitl the squelch closes and the scan hang timer expires. Then back to no rx.

It is scanning channels that are carrier squelch so it isn't an issue with PL. I've even cloned it from a radio that works fine, with no resolution.

Any suggestions, useful ones that is?

Hello; in the software there is a page that you can set up the differant scan settings, also this page should be where you change the type of recv unmute function that you want, The Standard unmute works for me on mine. The help pages in the software will explain the different recv unmute functions. You have to read thru and select the proper setting, this might require some experimenting with the settings. Now the other item to look at is the time settings on the channel, how much time does the scanning stop on each channel, again this will require some playing with. The other item to look at is the scan list and make sure that it is set up correctly. Now you might have to check you button configuration, make sure that only one button is used to start and stop the scan function. Sometimes if these buttons are set up wrong they will not function correctly, again the help menu in the software will explain this. If all this does not work you might have to go in and reprogram the radio from the start and set everything up again. Clonning the radio might of caused some of the software to corrupt????? maybe load the original code plug if you have saved it, this last item helps a lot.
