HT 1250 Question

What is the new firmware for the HT 1250 ? how could I get a fresh cordplug or could someone send me one.

The most recent firmware is R05.09.xx (unsure what the actual latest number is, thus .xx). Dealers can download it from Motorola Online - it's not routinely available to end users. They'll need a flash box (essentially a switch), a real programming cable, and about 5 minutes to do the upgrade. If you're a self-maintained user (you program your own radios), contact your friendly Moto sales rep and ask him/her for the flash package.

As far as the fresh codeplug, why? Replacing the codeplug doesn't update the firmware, if that's what you're thinking. If you need a codeplug, you'll need to post your model number - they have to match perfectly.

OK thanks, I will look at posting the model number here later. Do you know what Motorola is charging on a fireware upgrade
