What radios do you own?: Motorola, Icom, Sunair (HF).

You're abusing a very dead equine. This topic has been covered at length in other threads.

In short: Outside of major surgery to the VCO, receiver front end, and RF PA section, it is not possible to make a 403-433 Spectra into a 438-470. This is probably the biggest reason why the government-split units sell so cheaply on Greed-bay.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Oh, FWIW: 'FAIL 001' means synthesizer unlock, which is exactly what you'll get if you try to push an unmodified Range 1 VCO into Range 2.

Keep the peace(es).

spectra code plug error

Post by mp501mp »

actually i want to bring it back to 403mhz split .
when i got the radio it had no mlm installed i had to buy one.
i am not trying to modify the band just the code plug file. i read the mod that you all have tried but that is how to convert it to range 2, i need range 1.

the radio needs to tune to 410mhz
