spectra code plug help

spectra code plug help

hello all:

i do not need software i have it.


i have a uhf systems 9000 spectra 403-430 split but the code plug in the mlm is for 450 band. how do i change it back to 403?

i dont have a saved 403 code plug.

any help would be nice.

tried the super site but spectra software wont read it, says no file found.

The problem with the super site is that the DBF file is not included with the code plug files. You need to go in and modify your DBF file to include the code plug file you downloaded.

The DBF file is needed in order for the RSS to even see the code plug file your trying to add.

Make sure you make a copy of your original DBF file to a floppy before doing anything. This way you have a way back if you mess up your working DBF file.

actually i want to bring it back to 403mhz split .
when i got the radio it had no mlm installed i had to buy one.
i am not trying to modify the band just the code plug file. i read the mod that you all have tried but that is how to convert it to range 2, i need range 1. the radio needs to tune to 410mhz

You could simply try bit-banging the proper bandsplit bit back to match 403-433...

i am unsure that i understand how to do the bit bang part . i tried it once but it made a total mess of things.
